Mission-Shaped Pastor/Leader Survey
What skills and competencies are required for pastors to lead churches into the ways of mission? This resource point’s you in the right direction. The Survey results are compiled into a comprehensive report - The PastorLeader Report. From this report you can identify the primary factors you’ll need to cultivate for effective mission-shaped leadership. This survey can be used as a stand-alone tool or you can participate in a coaching process with an experienced coach assisting you to develop a plan for cultivating the competencies you identify as priorities.

What does this survey measure?
Sixteen factors or capacities that are categorized into four broad areas: character, cultivating people, forming a missional environment and engaging context. The last three areas are built upon the foundation of the character of the leader.
How do you take the survey?
After completing your purchase you will receive detailed instructions regarding the process of completing the survey. You will forward these instructions to those you are asking to provide feedback through this tool.
Who completes the survey?
This is a 360 survey, which means that you will take it along with staff members, church board members, peers, denominational overseer (if one exists), and church members. The information gathered from this survey is most helpful when you provide between 18 and 25 different names.
How long does it take for someone to complete the Survey?
About 40 minutes.
What do you receive from this survey?
The information from the surveys will be gathered into a report that uses color charts and graphics. The average length of the report is 50 pages. This report is confidential and will only be sent to you.
How long does it take to receive the report?
After all of the assessors have provided their responses to the survey, it takes about one month to have the report sent to you.
How might I connect with others who want to participate in a Pastor Team?
A Pastor Team is a group of pastors who have all completed this survey and work together to process the information revealed in their reports. You can team up with other pastors from your denomination or friends who are pastors from other churches.
