This video tells the story behind the Allelon Summer Institute - a leadership event taking place this June in Pasadena California. The event is being designed for practicing leaders in the church who have begun conversations and experiments in missional church.
We have brought together a team of people, Alan Roxburgh, Scott Cormode, Eddie Gibbs, Mark Lau Branson and Richard Beaton, who will work with leadership attendees to address the issues of the skills and resources needed for missional practice.
Along with this experienced team we have invited Walt Kallestad from the Community of Joy to participate with us. Walt has been a very successful pastor who is working with a team at engaging his church community in missional formation. We are delighted that Walt will be with us to share his experience of transitioning a church in a missional direction.
Roxburgh, Branson, and Gibbs will also bring narratives of their pastoral work in churches.
