Missional Schools Project - Eddie Gibbs |
|
Anglican priest & missionary, theologian, author and Fuller Seminary professor, Eddie Gibbs brings significant wisdom and understanding to the discussion of training leaders for missional church. Eddie's two most recent books are LeadershipNext: Changing Leaders in a Changing Culture, and, with Ryan Bolger, Emerging Churches: Creating Community in Postmodern Cultures. This conversation with Al Roxburgh took place early one January morning in Eddie's office at Fuller.
Eddie is one of the leaders of the Allelon Summer Institute @ Fuller Seminary this summer – a joint event with Fuller and the De Pree Center for Leadership.

I am on staff at Worldview Centre for Intercultural Studies. We are grappling with these very issues as we rewrite our courses. We want to see people effective in today's world not reproduce yesterday's model. It is not just staff who struggle but there are also students who expect handfeeding. Thank you for this helpful interview.
